This listing is for a Heavy Duty Deep Transmission Pan with Extra Capacity for the 6R60, 6R75, 6R80, 6R100 Transmissions. A magnetic drain plug, 3/8 NPT and all mounting bolts are included with the pan. This pan has been designed for. + Cooling - extra capacity(3 quarts above stock), fins, and aluminum construction for reported temperature drops of 10 to 35 degrees.
+ Clearance - medium height maintains clearance. + Drain Plug - on the side for safety. + Secure Seal - machined flat gasket flange for a leak free seal. + Strength - high quality aluminum, thick walls. + Fins on bottom of pan for additional clearance.
+ Designed to work with the stock filter and gasket. This pan has been installed on 6R60, 6R75, 6R80 and 6R100 transmissions, which includes the following vehicles. + Ford F-150 starting with some 2009 models up to 2017.+ Ford F-250 with gas engines, 2017-UP with the 6R100. + International vehicles like the Ford Ranger and Mazda BT-50(the Everest may have frame cross member interference). Configurations vary so always check your vehicle. Verify which transmission you have and look for ground clearance and interference from frame cross members or exhaust components. Explorer owners should plan on temporarily removing the cross member. On the Ford Explorer the pan is a very close fit and two bolts are difficult to access, because of the cross member and the transmission cooler lines. Many customers have temporarily removed the cross member to gain access. A ball head T-handle hex wrench might also work.

This pan is designed to work with the stock filter and gasket. Filter supports on the bottom of the pan keep the filter in place as you can see in the above photo. The above photo shows the drain hole has been placed on the left(driver side in US) near the rear of the vehicle.
A magnetic drain plug is included with the pan and all the mounting bolts. A boss opposite the drain is for optional temperature sending units, this can be drilled and tapped to accommodate from 1/8" to 1/2" NPT. The above diagram shows the dimensions in inches of the Deep Pan so you can check clearances under you vehicle before ordering. If the pan or cover you receive is determined to have some kind of manufacturing defect i.Machining problem, leak due to porosity in pan wall, PML will replace the part. If you run a cover or pan into a boulder and it cracks or is damaged, well, there's nothing PML can help you with there.
